Another award winning game on our list - Match It! is a great game to teaching spelling. Match the letters with the picture card to spell the word. The Match It! With this game kids need to correctly sound out the word and try to hear the sound of the missing word to navigate around the board. For older kids, this comes with an answer sheet for them to check their own answers. Perfect for teaching sounding out letter sounds and hearing phonics. The board games involve the use of a spinner which helps the player to construct the words and determines their movement around the board.
(This game contains small parts, not recommended for kids 3 and under)
